Nico Cartosio is a russian composer, pianist.

Biography[править]

Nico Cartosio was born in Moscow 5 May 1978, but there is an ancient tiny town named Cartosio in the mountains of Piedmont in Italy. According to one of the family legends, the family has Italian roots from this place, from the earliest days till revolution of 1917 in Russia.

The Russian-based composer is a producer of modernized pieces mostly relies on the language of Russian romantic-era composers and also draws a lot of influence from baroque music.

The global launch of his first single "Snow about the Earth. Requiem for the tunes unplayed" (Adagio for violin, organ and orchestra; G-moll) from the new album was held in 23 April 2018.

This particular piece was directly inspired by stories of children throughout the world who talented with the gift of music. But wars and diseases take them away before their time. This is a requiem for their tunes never played.

  • Dancing darkness (phantasmagoria for symphonic orchestra and percussion, a-moll) etc.
