Анна Бельфер-Коэн (англ. Anna Belfer-Cohen, ивр. אנה בלפר-כהן) — израильский археолог, палеоантрополог, заслуженный профессор Института археологии Еврейского университета в Иерусалиме.

Биография

Анна Бельфер родилась в 1949 году в Ровно, УССР.

В 1956 году с семьёй репатриировалась в Израиль. После окончания средней школы в городе Петах-Тиква получила степень бакалавра по археологии в Институте археологии Еврейского университета в Иерусалиме, где также получила степень магистра (1981) и PhD (1988). Уже в старших курсах она участвовала во многих археологических экспедициях в Израиле, на Кипре и на Синае. Темой её докторской диссертации была Натуфийская культура.

В 2002 году была назначена полным профессором в Институте археологии Еврейского университета в Иерусалиме. С 2005 по 2009 год возглавляла Институт археологии данного университета.

Области исследований: нижний палеолит в долине реки Иордан, верхнеий палеолит севера Синайской пустыни, ранний бронзовый век на Южном Синае, археологический памятник Нахаль Эйн-Гев (натуфийская деревня Нахал Эйн Гев II) и т. д.
