Изабелла Новик (англ. Isabella Novik, ивр. איזבלה נוביק) — израильский математик[1].

Биография[править]

Изабелла Шефтель родилась в 1971 году судя по всему в СССР.

В 1999 году под руководством Гила Калаи получила степень доктора философии в Еврейском университете в Иерусалиме.

В 2006—2008 годах — научный сотрудник Фонда Альфреда Слоуна.

В 2017 году была избрана членом Американского математического общества «за вклад в алгебраическую и геометрическую комбинаторику».

Работает профессором математики в Университете Вашингтона в Сиэтле.

Области исследований: алгебраическая комбинаторика и комбинаторика многогранников.
