Луис Кри́сберг (англ. Louis Kriesberg, 30 июля 1926, Чикаго, Иллинойс, США) — американский социолог, специалист по конфликтологии.
Биография[править]
Родился 30 июля 1926 года в Чикаго в бедной семье еврейских эмигрантов из России.
В 1947 году получил бакалавра философии по общественным наукам с отличием в Колледже[en] Чикагского университета, в 1947 году магистра гуманитарных наук по социологии и в 1953 году доктора философии по социологии в Чикагском университете[1].
В 1953—1956 годы — преподаватель социологии в Школе общего обучения[en] Колумбийском университете[1].
В 1956–1957 годы по программе Фулбрайта занимался исследовательской деятельностью в Кёльнском университете[1].
В 1957—1958 годы — старший научный сотрудник в области прав и поведенческих наук в Школа права Чикагском университете[1].
В 1958—1962 годы — старший директор по исследованиям Национального центра по изучению общественного мнения, 1962—1967 годы — ассоциированный профессор и научный сотрудник Центра молодёжного развития, 1967—1997 годы — профессором социологии (с 1997 года — эмерит), в 1994—1997 годы — максвеллский профессор конфликтологии (с 1997 года — эмерит) и в 1974—1977 годы — заведующий кафедрой социологии Сиракузского университета[1][2].
