Робин Макиннес (англ. Robin McInnes; [Нет даты!]) — британский геолог и инженер-строитель. Известен как эксперт по управлению прибрежными зонами и проблемам нестабильности грунта.

Карьера[править]

Макиннес изучал геологию в Саутгемптонском университете (1968—1971) и получил степень доктора философии по комплексному управлению прибрежными зонами в Портсмутском университете в 2004 году. Проработав 35 лет (1972—2007) в местных органах власти в Гэмпшире и на острове Уайт, в 2007 году он основал собственную консалтинговую компанию Coastal & Geotechnical Services[1].

Макиннес консультировал ООН, Совет Европы и Европейскую комиссию по вопросам управления прибрежными зонами и природных опасностей. Он разработал и успешно руководил тринадцатью проектами Европейского союза, финансируемыми программами LIFE Environment, Interreg, а также VI и VII Рамочными программами[2].

В декабре 2007 года он получил исследовательскую стипендию Crown Estate-Caird (Национальный морской музей)[3]. С 1995 по 2009 год профессор Макиннес был техническим председателем Постоянной конференции по проблемам береговой линии (SCOPAC) и возглавлял прибрежные группы Англии и Уэльса с 1997 по 2009 год. Макиннес проявляет особый интерес к управлению прибрежными рисками и оползнями. Он написал множество технических статей и нетехнических руководств по прибрежным и геотехническим вопросам. В 1991 году он организовал Международную конференцию по устойчивости склонов на острове Уайт, соспонсором которой выступил Институт инженеров-строителей. Он был председателем оргкомитета Международной конференции по нестабильности — планированию и управлению, прошедшей в Вентноре (остров Уайт) в мае 2002 года, а также председателем оргкомитетов Международных конференций по управлению прибрежными зонами Института инженеров-строителей в 2003 и 2007 годах. В 2007 году он также возглавлял оргкомитет Международной конференции по изменению климата и оползням, состоявшейся в Вентноре в мае 2007 года.

С 2008 года Макиннес реализовал ряд исследовательских проектов для The Crown Estate[4], Historic England[5], Агентства по охране окружающей среды[6] и Natural England[7].
