Тамар Сейдеман (англ. Tamar Seideman, ивр. תמר זיידמן) — израильский химик, профессор химии в Северо-Западном университете[1].

Биография[править]

Родилась 26 ноября 1959 года.

В 1982 году получила степень бакалавра по химии в Тель-Авивском университете.

В 1990 году под руководством Моше Шапиро получила докторскую степень в Научный институт им. Вейцмана.

Затем стала научным сотрудником программы Фулбрайта в Калифорнийском университете в Беркли. Позже работала с Уильямом Миллером по теоретической химии.

В 1992 году присоединилась к исследовательскому центру Эймса (подразделение НАСА) в качестве научного сотрудника.

В 1996 году была назначена младшим научным сотрудником Национального исследовательского совета Канады. Она была назначена профессором химии в Королевском университете в Кингстоне. Здесь она разработала фотоэлектронные угловые распределения (PAD) для изучения коротких импульсов накачки-зонда.

В 2003 году стала профессором химии в Северо-Западном университете.

В 2011 году стала членом Леопольдины и завершила должность приглашенного профессора в Научном институте Вейцмана.

Применяет квантово-механические методы и вычислительную химию, чтобы понять динамику тока в молекулярных электронных устройствах.
