Шоу, Мартин (социолог)
Мартин Шоу (англ. Martin Shaw; [Нет даты!]) — британский социолог и профессор международных отношений в Барселонском институте международных исследований. Специализируется на социологических исследованиях войн, геноцидов и глобальной политики.
Биография[править]
Шоу работал преподавателем социологии в Даремском университете (1970—1972) и Халлском университете (1972—1994), где в 1994 году получил должность профессора международной и политической социологии. В 1995 году перешёл в Сассекский университет, где работал до выхода на пенсию в 2012 году. С 2010 по 2020 год был профессором-исследователем в Рохэмптонском университете в Лондоне. С 2010 года является профессором-исследователем в Барселонском институте международных исследований в Барселоне. В 2013 году получил премию за лучшую статью от Европейской ассоциации международных исследований (EISA) за работу «From Comparative to International Genocide Studies: The International Production of Genocide in 20th Century Europe».
