Эйтан Кольберг (англ. Ethan Colberg, Etan Kohlberg, ивр. איתן קולברג) — израильский учёный, почётный профессор кафедры арабского языка и литературы в Еврейском университете.

Биография

Родился в 1943 года в Тель-Авиве в семье доктора Ирмы, урожденной Фёрст, и доктора Иешуа Колберга, фармацевта.

Учился в Еврейском университете, получил степень бакалавра в 1966 году и степень магистра в 1968 году (оба с отличием).

В 1969—1971 годах закончил докторантуру в Оксфордском университете.

В 1972—2006 годах работал на факультет арабского языка и литературы в Еврейском университете. В 1987—1989 годах — руководитель Института азиатских и африканских исследований. В 1991 году получил звание профессора.

В 1993 году был избран членом АН Израиля.

В 2008 году получил премию Ротшильда.

Исследования шиизма и суффизма.

Женат, имеет двоих детей. Сын Ярон стал видным пианистом.
