Лилиан Розанофф Либер (англ. Lillian Rosanoff Lieber) — американский математик[1].
Биография[править]
Лилиан Розанофф (Либер по мужу) родилась 26 июля 1886 года в Николаеве (Херсонская губерния Российской империи). Её братья — психиатр Аарон Розанофф и химик Мартин Андре Розанофф.
В 1891 году эмигрировала в Соединённые Штаты.
В 1908 году получила степень бакалавра в колледже Барнард
В 1911 году получила степень магистра в Колумбийском университете .
В 1914 году получила докторскую степень Ph.D. в Университета Кларка.
В 1917−1918 годах — руководитель отдела физики в колледже Уэллс в Авроре, штат Нью-Йорк.
В 1918−1920 годах — преподаватель в колледж Коннектикута для женщин.
С 1934 года работала на факультете математики в Университете Лонг-Айленда.
С 1945 года — заведующая кафедрой математики.
В 1947−1954 годах — профессор университета Лонг-Айленда.
Умерла 11 июля 1986 года в Квинсе, Нью-Йорк.
