Sandalops melancholicus (лат.) — головоногий моллюск из отряда кальмары.

Общие сведения

Обитает в Южной Атлантике.

Способен менять окраску.

Кальмар является плотоядным животным и его жертвами в основном становятся рыбы, крабы, омары и моллюски, которых он ловит при помощи щупалец с присосками.

Длина мантии составляет 11 см.
