Моше Бар-Ашер (англ. Moshe Bar-Asher, ивр. משה בר-אשר) — израильский лингвист, профессор Иерусалимского университета.

Биография

Моше Бар-Ашер родился 29 июня 1939 года в Эр-Рашидия, Марокко в раввиноской семье.

В 1951 году вместе с семьёй репатриировался в Израиль; жили в Офаким, затем в Мусраре.

Служил в танковых частях Армии обороны Израиля.

В 1976 году получил докторскую степень в Еврейском университете в Иерусалиме.

В 1981−1983 годах — председатель департамента в университете языка иврит.

В 1983−1986 годах — председатель Института иудаики.

В 1987 году вице-президент Академии языка иврит.

В 1993 году стал президентом Академии языка иврит.

В 2014 году был избран членом АН Израиля.
