Эстер Сегал (англ. Ester H. Segal, ивр. אסתר סגל) — израильский учёный в области нанотехнологий, профессор кафедры биотехнологии и пищевой промышленности в Технионе — Израильском технологическом институте, где она возглавляет лабораторию многофункциональных наноматериалов[1].

В Технионе получила степень бакалавра (1997) с отличием в области химического машиностроения, степень магистра наук и докторскую степень (2004) в области полимеров.

В аспирантуре разработала электропроводящие полимерные системы и изучала их применение в качестве датчиков для летучих органических соединений.

В 2004—2007 годах работала на факультете химии и биохимии в Калифорнийском университете в Сан-Диего. Разработала пористые кремниевые наноматериалы для доставки лекарств и оптического биосенсирования.

В 2007 году вернулась в Израиль и присоединилась к отделу биотехнологии и пищевой промышленности Техниона, где открыла собственную исследовательскую лабораторию. Была повышена до звания профессора в 2020 году.

Её исследовательская лаборатория сосредоточена на соединении материаловедения с химией и биотехнологией для решения проблем в пищевой технологии и медицине, так, например занимается изучением кремний-полимерных гибридов и технологий упаковки пищевых продуктов.

Замужем, имеет двоих детей.
