Феликс Эренхафт
Феликс Эренхафт (англ. Felix Ehrenhaft) — австрийский физик[1].
Биография[править]
Родился 24 апреля 1879 года в Вене.
В 1903 году получил докторскую степень в Венском университете, где затем работал до 1938 года (с 1911 года — профессор), паралелльно трудился и в Физическом институте университета.
В 1907 году наблюдал броуновское движение в газах, разработал метод капель для измерения величины элементарного электрического заряда.
В 1916 году выдвинул Альберта Эйнштейна на Нобелевскую премию за СТО.
В 1938 году Эренхафту пришлось покинуть Австрию и продолжить свою работу сначала в Англии, а затем в США.
В 1946 или 1947 году вернулся в Вену в качестве директора Физического института (вернулся в Венский университет, где занимал свою прежнюю должность до конца жизни).
Области исследований: статистическая физика и атомная физика.
Был женат на физике Ольге Эренхафт-Штайндлер.
Умер 4 марта 1952 года в Вене.
