Хайбар и Афганистан
Хайбар и Афганистан — связи евреев Хиджаза с Афганистаном и пуштунами.
Общие сведения[править]
По преданиям пуштунов часть их предков — Бани-Исраиль — была рассеяна в Аравии (см. Версия пуштунско-еврейского происхождения Халида ибн аль-Валида), где приняла во главе со своим вождём Кайсом ислам во времена Мухаммада.
The word Qais or Kash is the name of numerous personalities of the Bani Israil an example is Saul son of Kish; Kash is known as the forefather of the Pashtuns because he is the first one to embrace Islam,when he became Muslim he was then known as Abdur Rashid. Kash or Kish are the same word, the Arabs pronounce it Qais, hence Bani Qais is used in Ahadith[1].
The Pathans claim that some of them are of descendants of the Children of Israel and that Qais Abd al-Rashid, their ancient king, was a descendant of King Saul. He met the Prophet Muhammad in Medina in about 630 CE and accepted the religion of Islam. To support this claim the Pathans present genealogies books and ancient Afghan history books that attest to their origins, but they also know that their religious – cultural − identity, with all its ramifications, is Muslim[2].
При этом утверждается, что между Бани-Исраиль Хиджаза и Бани-Исраиль Афганистана существовала связь:
Though many Afghans consider Qais (Kish) as their unified grand father or progenitor, the reality of the matter is that, Kish was only the selected leader of the Afghan delegation which traveled to Medinah to meet the Prophet Muhammad. He was therefore their chieftain at the time. This delegation is said to have comprised of 76 people representing all Afghan tribes[3].
Действительно, такая связь была возможной, так как:
- предания о деятельности апостола Фомы в Индии говорят о давних торговых связях.
- рахдониты посещали как Джидду в Хиджазе, так и Балх в Афганистане.
- созвучие топонима Хайбар с Хайбер.
Возможно, что связь между евреями Хайбара и предками пуштунов поддерживалась до 16 века, когда Давид Реувени, который с одной стороны может быть был пуштуном[4], тем не менее просил помощи евреям Хиджаза через апорт Джидду.
